Kasco De-Icer Accessories
Kasco produces a number of great accesories to help you get the most from you Kasco De-icer. The new C-10 Thermostat and the Kasco C-20 Time & Temprature Control are designed to turn your Kasco De-icer on when it is needed and off, to when it isn't.
The Universal Dock Mount will mount your Kasco De-icer to a dock or piling, allowing you to adjust the depth (to 10 ft.) and angle of the unit. The Kasco Horizontal Float unit allows you to float your de-icer just below the surface, and control the angle of the unit. This unit will produce and elongated oval of open water, and also works great if you plan to use your Kasco de-icer during warmer months to deflect flotsam or create currents to avoid developing stagnant water areas.
We offer replacement props for the Kasco 2400D, 3400D, 3400HD, 4400D and 4400HD De-icers. Each unit comes with a zinc anode mounted on the shaft to protect against damage from electrolysys. While it is more important in salt water conditions, you should to check the zincs on your unit periodically and replace them if they are down to 50% of the original size, or are crusted white. Zinc anodes come in a 1/2 inch shaft sized for the KLasco 2400D and the Kasco 3400D and HD model. The Kasco 4400D and HD models require an anode fiteed for a 5/8 inch shaft. |

| Kasco C-10 De-Icer Thermostat |

| Thermostat will control 1 120-volt Kasco De-icer, turning it on when the temprature drops below the selected temprature. When the temprature rises over 2.5º above the selected temprature, the system will shut off, conserving energy. Daily observation is suggested for all de-icing installations. |

| Designed to help you conserve energy, this system offers both the convenience of a thermostat and it allows you to set timed activity cycles. Many users will see energy consumption savings of 50-66% (per the manufacturer), although users in more extreme areas like the Great Lakes will likely see lower savings. This unit will operate only one Kasco De-icer and should be observed daily. Works with 120-volt de-icers. |
