The JIF Transom Ladder is both easy to operate and sturdy, a perfect combination when boarding your boat. The stainless steel frame provides strength, durability, and corrosion resistance (a necessity when dealing with marine life and salty water). The ladder attaches to the transom via four standoff pipes with hinged brackets, and the tubes can be cut to various lengths to fit most curved or angled transoms.
When deployed, each of the two or three steps provide a solid, comfortable foothold as they are made from molded plastic with comfort treads. When the ladder is not in use, fold the steps up and out of the water, and secure it to the main handholds with the securing strap. Stainless steel fasteners are also included but mounting hardware is not.
