The Ice Eater Protective Screen fits either the intake or output end of Ice Eater shroud. If your area has lots of woody debris, this screen will provide protection from debris being pulled into your Ice Eater and damaging the prop. Typically, the screen will be installed on the intake end, but for optimal protection, add a screen to both the intake and output of your deicer. Screens are not recommended if your area has lots of soft weed debris, as the screen may cause this material to accumulate at the intake impairing the operation of your unit.
