Replacement Power Cords for Kasco De-icers and Circulators

Use genuine Kasco power cords for all Kasco de-icers and circulators.

Kasco Replacement Power Cord Features

  • Extreme gauge rating prevents loss of power as electricity travels from power source to de-icer or circulator motor
  • Ensures de-icer or circulator can deliver maximum ice clearance and prevention
  • Use of extension cords or thinner gauged power cords results in reduced de-icer or circulator performance
  • Provides quick and easy water-tight connection to the motor

Use of extension cords is not recommended with de-icers:

  • Voltage drops as electricity passes down a wire
  • The longer the wire, the more voltage is lost
  • More voltage is lost at each connection (i.e. extension cord connections)
  • Running your de-icer with insufficient voltage will result in reduced performance and will also put additional load on the motor

Well made product

My existing cord was cut by an ice flow. I replaced it with this OEM product. It was high quality, contained the necessary o-rings, and, as a plus a small tube of silicon grease to be used as further sealant on the threads of the plug. On small complaint - there were no instructions on what to do with the silicon grease. I was unsure if it was a seal for the connector prongs or the threads. I had to Google it to find it was not a conductor and only a sealant for the threads.
