The LIFT™ System

LIFT™ [Life-saving Inflatable Flotation Technology] is a revolutionary flotation cell system, designed to lift you out of the water, & keep you there. By elevating the body & maintaining an upright position, LIFT™ ensures that you’re less likely to swallow water caused by rough seas & chop. And by keeping more of you out of the water, it delays hypothermia. The LIFT™ cell design delivers over 40 pounds of buoyancy & about 9" of freeboard (distance between the water’s surface & your mouth), the highest elevation out of water ever seen in a PFD. When inflated, the LIFT™ bladder has stabilizing wings on the sides and behind the neck to provide additional support in rough waters. LIFT™ provides extra safety in severe weather and increases visibility to rescue crews.

Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT™)

Mustang Survival has introduced a new inflatable PFD that uses hydrostatic technology. This new Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT™) is exclusive to Mustang, and uses a water pressure valve that only opens if it has been immersed in 4 or more inches of water. You could be fishing in the pouring rain, sailing in rough water, or be in 90% humidity, it simply won’t automatically inflate unless you go in the water. This reliable and low-maintenance technology is exclusive to Mustang Survival in North America and is maintenance-free for 5 years or until inflated.
