Mustang MRD100 Rescue Stick Features
On average the Rescue Stick™ can be thrown between 100 and 150 feet, almost triple the distance of a typical rope bag or life ring. Simply remove the baton shaped Rescue Stick™ from its waterproof bag and throw near the person. Once contact is made with the water it automatically inflates in seconds to a large horseshoe shape with 35 lbs. of buoyancy, able to keep the person in the water afloat and their head above water until help arrives. In an emergency, time, distance and the ability to provide flotation to someone rapidly is critical. In many situations the Rescue Stick is an effective rescue tool.

Lifeguards can easily throw the Rescue Stick™ to someone in trouble to keep their head above water until rescued. Recreational boaters can throw the Rescue Stick™ to a man overboard while maneuvering to get them out of the water.
Automatic Inflation
Mustang's Rescue Stick automatically inflates when contact is made with the water. They operate on a small bobbin or tablet that dissolves in the water and causes the inflator to activate and fill the inflatable cell. The Rescue Stick is simple to repack and reuse - just insert a new bobbin and screw in the replacement handle containing the CO2 cylinder.
