Plastimo's ISO-standard, hot dip galvanized chain delivers improved strength performance & saves weight. Plastimo rodes are designed with a tapered backsplice for use with rope/chain windlasses.

Additional Plastimo Rode Features

  • Smooth transition from rope to chain around gypsy
  • Treated for maximum abrasion/snag resistance
  • Retains flexibility after constant exposure to saltwater and sun
  • A proper fit with windlass gypsy will prevent damage to gypsy sprocket
  • Anchor windlasses will work with 1 or more Plastimo rodes if the chain and rope sizes match
  • Note: Maxwell Liberty anchor windlasses do not have a Plastimo rode that is compatible
