WESTLAND LIMITED CONSUMER WARRANTY

All warranty inquiries must first be addressed with the retailer or dealer from which the Westland product was originally purchased. Please return to the location where you purchased this product to request a return or file a warranty claim.

Westland Industries warrants, to the original purchaser, that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for the periods listed below:

Accessories: A 90 day warranty covering manufacturer defects applies to all accessories.

Bimini Frames:
A 1 year warranty covering manufacturer defects applies to bimini frames.

Covers and Bimini Skins:
Any Westland Industries cover proven defective will be repaired on a labors/materials basis or replaced on a prorated schedule dependent upon cover fabric (shown below) based on the retail price of the cover.

Warranty Conditions

1) Retailer Receipt or Proof of Purchase must be presented for any warranty consideration. Please keep your receipt and any tags removed from the product. Warranty takes effect from date of initial retail purchase. The original purchase date must be clearly displayed on the purchase receipt.

2) Items must be clean and unused. We cannot accept returns that are wet or dirty so please be careful when first examining the cover or top. Perhaps open the cover or top on a clean sheet to preserve its condition.


Warranty Items Not Covered

Not covered under warranty is damage caused by: misuse; accident; neglect; improper installation or maintenance; as well as allowing the product to come in contact with tree sap, chemicals, bleach, gasoline, oils and other liquids not defined to be part of the cleaning procedure listed herein.

Additional items not covered are damage as a result of animals such as rodents, birds, pets, etc and any contact with sharp objects that result in punctures or tears and over-exposure to acid rain or pollution. Damage to a Non-Trailerable Select Fit cover incurred during trailering is not covered under warranty. Wind whipping occurs when the straps come loose during transportation. It is necessary to monitor strap tightness as the weight shifts during on-road traveling.

Do not allow water, snow or ice to pool on a cover as this will degrade the cover's water repellency and prematurely cause leakage. Damage from pooled water may not be covered under this warranty. To prevent this from occurring, it is highly recommended you install a vent pole or boat pole to raise the center of the cover so water, snow and ice run off and do not collect.

All incidental and/or consequential damages are excluded from the warranty. Implied warranties are limited to the life of the warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights which may vary from state to state.

Due to the custom nature of these products, restocking fees could apply on returns.

Do not return products directly to Westland unless specifically directed to do so. Any returned products must have an RA number. No returns will be accepted without an RA number.
