Taylor Made Boat Guard Self-Supporting Technology Universal Boat Cover
The Taylor Made Boat Guard Self-Supporting Technology universal boat cover has unique patented support poles designed to hold the cover in a convex shape and to help prevent water build up. There is no need for independent boat cover supports because the "Self Supporting Technology" system fully supports this cover. Multi-part fiberglass support rods connect to form flexible supports. These rods are slipped into sewn in support positioning sleeves under the cover and are bent into a rigid arc creating a low profile arch in the cover. The concept is similar to the way popular modern nylon and fiberglass camp tents are constructed. The Boat Guard Self-Supporting Technology boat cover is easy to install and store.
This cover features integrated shock-corded fiberglass poles and a 5 year warranty. This high end universal boat cover is made from Taylor Made's popular Hot Shot fabric which is made from a 6.25 oz. 100% marine grade acrylic coated polyester and offers good U.V. protection. It is available in Sand.
Important Notes: Although Taylor Made says this cover is trailerable, SavvyBoater does not generally recommend universal covers for trailering.Also note that Self-Supporting Technology boat covers are not designed for snow conditions.  |
