Additional Information on Ice Eater Replacement Parts
Ice Eater Power Cords- Water and oil resistant power cords for Ice Eater De-icers. Simply unscrew and disconnect the old cord from your Ice Eater de-icer, then use the quick connect to attach the new cable and hand tighten the cap into place. Whether you are replacing an old or damaged cord, or changing the cord for a different length, it is an easy process.
Ice Eater replacement Shroud Large- Ice Eater De-icers employ a unique PVC plastic shroud which helps protect the unit and improves the flow of water. This is the large replacement shroud for the P750 Ice Eater and the P1000 Ice Eater. This Ice Eater replacement shroud measures 12 in. X 15 in. The Large Mounting Brackets #70200 are used to attach the motor to the shroud.
Ice Eater Replacement Shroud Small- Ice Eater De-icers employ a unique PVC plastic shroud which helps protect the unit and improves the flow of water. This is the large replacement shroud for the P500 Ice Eater. This Ice Eater replacement shroud measures 10 in. X 12 in. The Small Mounting Brackets #70100 are used to attach the motor to the shroud.
Ice Eater Zinc - This sacrificial zinc helps protect the metal portions of your Ice Eater de-icer from degradation by electrolysis. You'll need to periodically inspect the zinc on your Ice Eater and replace it when it shows signs of deterioration. The zinc anode is more reactive than the stainless steel that is used for the Ice Eater de-icer shaft and motor housing, so galvanic reactions are focused on the zinc material.
Ice Eater Electrolysis Kit - Under most circumstances, the Ice Eater Zinc will be sufficient to protect your Ice eater form electrolysis damage, however if you operate in areas with extreme electrolysis activity, this kit will step up the protection. It includes a zinc band and another sacrificial zinc for maximum protection. |
