Happy Troller Trolling Plate
One of the most popular names in trolling plates, the Happy Troller Trolling Plates by Davis Marine comes in 2 sizes. The Small trolling plates fit motors from 20-50 HP, while the Large trolling plates are designed for 50+ hp engines.
Made of aluminum with stainless steel fittings, the Happy Troller trolling plate mounts on your outboard or sterndrive's cavitation plate in about 15 minute. In the up position, the trolling plate acts like a hydrofoil stabilizer, while in the down position it will slow even the most gung-ho motors to an appropriate trolling speed.
