The Mustang Deluxe Hydrostatic Inflatable PFD provides excellent safety with auto hydrostatic inflation and is specifically designed for use in severe weather. Requiring minimal maintenance this Deluxe Mustang PFD is outiftted with a 1F auto hydrostatic inflator and a manual backup. Hydrostatic Inflation Technology works by using the hydrostatic pressure applied to objects that are submerged in water. The Mustang Hydrostatic Inflator needs only to be submerged 4 inches in order for the firing mechanism to engage, thus inflating the PFD. No maintenance is required for 5 years unless the inflator is fired. Reliable hydrostatic inflation on this Mustang life jacket ensures that the PFD will not inflate prematurely due to rain, humidity or water contact, though can be inflated manually by simply pulling the activation cord. A safety inspection window allows the user to clearly see the hydrostatic inflator replacement date and a green indicator shows that the inflator is ready for use.
This hydrostatic life vest is made with heavy-duty coated nylon for increased durability and will stand up to harsh weather and rigorous activity. Also includes a SecureZip™ closure that withstands nearly any activity and allows for easy repacking. This lightweight, comfortbale and compact Mustang PFD enables the user to fish, work, or perform almost any activity while still ensuring their own safety.
