Solid Braid Polyester Rope - 250-500 ft. Spools
This Solid Braid Polyester Rope is UV resistant and will not rot, chafe or mildew. Solid Braid rope is woven of a number of strands of Polyester, making a firm, round rope with a smooth surface. It is resistant to wear and retains its shape over pulleys making it a good cordage choice when you'll be running it through blocks. It can't be spliced, but it takes knots well. Polyester is nearly as strong as nylon, but it doesn't have nylon's stretch so it isn't as well suited for dynamic loading situations. Perfect when you need long reaches of unspliced line for shrimp and crab pot lines, or other marine cordage needs. Available in 3/8 in. and 1/2 in. diameter.
