Kasco Marine Deicer
Kasco deicers are built around a simple, rugged design, consisting of a heavy duty motor surrounded by a stainless steel protective case. Kasco is the brand we would recommend for situations where they will be subjected to continued operation and rough handling such as marinas, civic works, or commercial applications.
The Powerhouse Ice Eater might be a better choice if you are protecting private docks, boat houses, or slips. The Ice Eater’s shroud enables the user to precisely direct water flow, and the Powerhouse offers more configurations. The larger Powerhouse units are also slightly more energy efficient than their Kasco equivalents.
