Keeping your boat cover in place and functioning properly is almost as important as having a cover in the first place. Proper tie-downs are important for keeping your boat cover in place and are essential if you plan to trailer your boat covered. Every boat cover, with the exception of universal boat covers, includes a free tie down kit with each new boat cover purchase.

In addition to boat cover tie-down straps, we highly recommend installing a boat cover support system to extend the life of your cover. Support poles and y-strap systems take up slack areas in the cover and make a convex profile, like a roof, that helps the cover quickly shed water and debris. If allowed to accumulate, water, snow or debris can damage a boat cover or the boat it is protecting.
